Upon reaching level 10, one can set a surname for him ( or her ) self with a command /surname set [surname]

Name Surname is a Male Halfling Novice Fighter. He looks strong, smart, fast, and cute. In one hand he holds a Battle Axe, the other a Buckler. He is wearing a Branchwood Tunic, and a Reinforced Helmet protects his head. He is wearing Leather Gloves on his hands and he is in a healthy condition.

Surname would only be visible if you take a look at someone or someones profile.

I like the idea, but I think its unneccessary, and with all new guilds and 1alt it may be a bit stressful on JLH. Good idea though.

It might seem abit unnecessery, though im a firm believer that small things do make a difference.
Tools for the player to customize their character are essential for any roleplaying game.

This is a mere suggestion, not a request. When he has time to add small things i wish he considers this, thats all :)

Though I think it would be interesting; it would be too easy for players to abuse...and believe me, players abuse everything they possibly can.
As for solving that---we don't really want to have to track down players who use offensive surnames...

Just as a point - do you spend much time tracking down people with offensive tags? Would be as simple to put something evil on a tag but people dont tend to as they know they will jsut get banned - i think the same would apply to the surnames
