DA BEARS!!!!! Wooped them Giants just like I said they were gonna. So Dysfunctional, DireWolf... Be glad I didn't take those bets. I'm only disappointed of not taking the bets because I could have gained a cobalt and 2 6 stats... ah well.

To the superbowl we go!!!

Just because the Bears are 8-1 doesn't mean the Falcons couldn't win.

But he's got you Josh, Bears > Falcons.

By one point, due to a bad coaching error.

So in other words, your team beat the CARDINALS because they GOT LUCKY.
Not much to say now... cause even the RAIDERS beat the Cardinals.

bears r good, but when grossman chokes when they play a BELOW AVERAGE team, theyll lose, like they did 2 the cardinals. in playoffs if he chokes, its against carolina, or NO, or Seattle, they'll lose that game. But they 1st need 2 learn to stop steve smith to ever win a super bowl

ah the intelligence of combusta, the envy of all nightmist players...

1. It took more than luck for bears to come back from 21 points down against carolina to win that game.

2. Bears let Miami win because we felt sorry for them for how trashed they were getting all that week.

3. Bears are gonna beat Jets and Patriots. End of story.

4. #2 was joke just in case people with a sense of humor didn't get it.

How far do you all expect the Bear's defense to carry them?

Seriously now Mike, how can you even compare the 1985 Bears to the team this year?

Jim McMahon > Rex Grossman

Walter Payton rushed for more then 1551 yards in 1985, almost 300 more then the 1280 yards Thomas Jones is on pace for this year.

And to compare this years defense to the defense of the 1985 team?

Tell you what Mike.......I'll make a bet with you....my account against whats left of yours.....the Bears dont win the Super Bowl.

He wasn't comparing anything as far as what the Bears have this year and what they had back in 1985. In 1985, Bears had an undefeated season going and was looking to go 13-0, but the only team to stop them from getting that 13-0 was Miami Dolphins. So this year so far is nothing but a repeat of 1985.

The Bears are going to superbowl this year and they will win reguardless of whether Rex Grossman can get his crap together or not.

marino is very good. and the bears defense is very comparable to 1985, look at the players. all thats missing is an injured mike brown and you dont have gary fencik anymore. but in comparison:
urlacher is like singletary, alex brown is like dan hampton, mike brown was alot like fencik til brown got hurt, lance briggs is like otis wilson, tank johnson/tommie harris are like richard dent. need i say more? anyways, as for the mcmahon/grossman comment; theres a very big difference between the both, and grossman throws the ball far better. mcmahon was more of a running quarterback. so where the bears lack in the running game compared to 1985, they sure as hell make up for it in the passing game.

heres some insight:

Tom Brady------- NE 9 304 33.8 180 59.2 2054 228.2 45 15 9 16 114 83.7
Rex Grossman - CHI 9 290 32.2 166 57.2 2095 232.8 62 17 11 11 77 83.6

and you were saying hes not doing any good. how naive of you. maybe you should research the stats and also the games to see he has led a 2nd best in league 8-1 team to that record, 2 screwups can be forgiven with more wins. and he's more than proven he's a good nfl quarterback and can hang with even the best of em. point is, he's juiced the offense enough to back that crazy defense so they dont have to win the game always. case closed.

In 1985, in the week of the season, McMahon lead the Bears to what some consider one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history. Ditka benched McMahon against the Vikings, and while they were losing 17-9 in the third quarter, McMahon threw three touchdowns, and the Bears won 33-24. In how many games has Rex Grossman thrown at least three touchdown passes?

Wait til playoff time, when Grossman goes out there and throws 4 interceptions. And I dont see you taking my bet either Mike.

If Grossman keeps throwing too many more interceptions, I don't see him starting any game in the playoffs tbh.

Dude, when are your hands up and out of your pants long enough to put your hands down? Every single time I say the Bears are gonna win, someone has to say "Bears are gooing to lose hands down." Yet every single game except the Miami game *since no one ever talked about the Bears and Miami game before hand including myself which shocked the hell out of me*, Bears have won. Bears are going to win superbowl. No if's, and's, or but's about it.
