Thank you Gaz for taking the time to make a quest. Looks like it's time to turn on the grind and play Nightmist for a day or two once again.

Hopefully the people camping the entrance to this place and pking anyone who tries to enter will stop so more of the server can enjoy it :P

I have no idea how you can say this quest is an area just for pande, when it is sub divided into 4 different mini quests. Including a Thief/Pally, Mage/Cleric, Druid/Ranger, and Fighter/Zerk> Pande is supposed to be a clan made up of nothing but overpowered thieves. Yet we have owned all 4 of the mini bosses to get the tokens needed to get to the final boss.

DA got there, and left it at mort because they pked the character carrying all 4 tokens, and that character just happened to drop all 4 of them, being picked up by a DA member and l2l right away.

So if we are nothing but a clan of oped thieves, how are we the only ones able to do this? TEAMWORK!

Thanks to Gaz for getting the quest fixed. I'm really quite amazed at the area. Very well done. Especially being a first time.

lol We have 420 members woot.

Stop slagging eachother off, I tried my best to make it available to all different clans to take part, this the subsection of different classes to work to get to the final boss. Was it not that DA actually got to the boss and the 2nd attempt in the game? So it was possible and I've no idea what happened in the end because I went to bed.

you did a great job. the only reason pande has a step up is because they have 420 crits in the clan, no matter whats made pande will always have the upper hand. i appreciate your hard work gaz <3.

i do know 1 ring has dropped for pande, i dont know about any other drops though.

Well, after about 9 or 10 hours of hard work, lending out my most powerful characters, and using every ounce of skill I have, I have nothing in this quest to show for it. We were almost sucessful in taking down the main boss, but with as many people as we had to carry mana, we were unsucessful, even with the ghasts spawned there to drop some. We were only able to get a single set to get to the boss, and only because of some good luck in pande making a mistake and basically giving us the tokens.

The only boss I was never able to kill out of the 4 was ZaChu, it was camped almost 24/7 by enemies and any attempt I made was met with extreme hostility.

Although DA got the 2nd attempt at the boss, I can easily say it never would've happened had we not tried to stop them getting the non thief tokens as much as possible. They wouldn't let get near the thief boss, so we felt it was only fair. Sucks, there coulda been 10+ drops I'm sure, but now looks like there's only gonna be 2-4 because of everyone hating on each other. I would easily stop trying to sabotage quest, or even general gameplay for anyone if they'd do the same for me, and my enemies know that. Still, it's not enough to get them to stop.

K like i said back on topic, Gaz i believe that if you make the boss squares nopk that you will have more competition for the stuff. If i remember right Emma did this for a previous quest when the clans were unbalanced when it was MD and LS.

gaz good quest..keep up the good work..but if you want it to work better next time make it so only so many people can be on specific squares at once and then make it so its ALL nopk....so no one can rule over it with their game time

Some people seem to have forgotten that nightmist is pvp not lets-all-hold-hands game. Every quest going back has been controlled by the clan/set of allied clans who have the most people on at the time.

A lot of people on here seem to be dictating who and who shouldn't be in a clan, but surely that's up to the founders/chairman of that clan?

The area is completely fine the way it is. My only complaint would be that because the paladin class is used less frequent than most, i wouldnt have put them in the same area as the thief. Just to add a little more equal competition. Other than that, the quest is fine. Its not staffs fault DA didnt have enough active players to adequately compete.

All in all, a spectacular quest.

lil revision for those who couldn't/didn't join.

There was an eerie path, speckled with Gargoyles, that lead to a Haunted House. Sprinkled through the House were Floating Ghostly Heads which had a low chance of dropping the Spirit Orb. There were also 4 class restricted mini bosses; 1 Cleric/Mage accessible (Belur), 1 Druid/Ranger (Yoyio), 1 Fighter/Zerk (Vertum), 1 Thief/Pally (ZaChu). Each of whom had a random chance of dropping a token.

Upon Hallow's Eve, a second floor to the Haunted House opened up. Inside were four ktp Spirit Guards each requiring a different token from aforementioned bosses. Upon unlocking the 4 doorways, you were met by Uo'Hop and his 3 ever spawning Ghast minions. This boss was only harmed through healing, magical spells, and attacks from the Spirit Orb.

There were 4 drops;

Unfortunately, the Amulet decided not to drop. But still some shiny little drops out there.

Can't say it enough, thanks gaz. I'm very impressed by all the details put into this quest. Very balanced and a fresh twist to the drops.

Put the details of the Spirit Orb and the four Ashkew items up on the Wiki. Most don't have their pictures yet, and I guessed the Spirit Orb's picture, so it may be wrong.
