Some rules,

For this quest you will require a level 1 character. You must also name that character QST_Something, so they are easily spotted by staff members.

All participants must register in advanced for this quest, with there player name. (Memo Abstract, I will create a list of players on here)

Players must also have new accounts purely for the quest character.

There will be events ran specifically for people involved in the Quest.

It will officially start on Monday the 29th of August at 11:59AM. You must have your character registered and checked before that time, but you may NOT gain exp until 12 server time on Monday. (Lunchtime). It will run for two calender months.

You may not join a party or recieve assistance/gold/items from any character not registered for the quest. If caught you will be disqualified. (I can check logs)

There will be many prizes awarded for various things. These are:

First to level 30.

Nicest level 30+. (Fewest Pkz & Deaths)

Event Master. (Player with the most event points by close of quest)

Boss Master. (Player with the most boss kills, and the bosses that count are Demonic General, Spider King, Crystal Giant)

The Hunter. (Player who completes the list of kills below first, and at close of quest a SPECIAL Prize shall be awarded to any character whos monsterkills contain ONLY the list below. Nothing more, nothing less.)

5 Small snakes
5 skeletons
10 brown bears
10 black bears
Mayor Tvarti
5 Mutant Beatles
5 Chairs
10 Cinder Beasts
1 Sand Viper
10 Ettins

20 Snotlings
10 Scarabs
5 Suit of Armor

The Roleplayer. (Roleplaying is encouraged throughout the quest, and the person who impresses the most with his character will win)

Prizes will be nice, so join

Also players that are not in the quest are not allowed to pk and harrass those players inside the quest.

If you accidentally kill one then thats alright, but if you constantly hunt and harrass you will be removed from the game until the quest is over.

But players registered for the quest are welcome to hunt and kill each other

Good news - if all goes to plan, we hope to have the quest started up again by Sunday, so time to register (memo me). Note that if you have registered already (before it was put on hold), you still need to send a memo from your main just so I know who is who.

If you decide you don't want to take part, but you did register a crit before and you want to use it as a regular character, tell me and I can unlock it for you... I would prefer you move it out of your quest account and rename it when it is unlocked though. Oh, and I hope it goes without saying I won't be best pleased if you do try to sneakily take part in this case.

Preliminary information and rules so far:

- The title of this quest is now The Journey: 30 in 30 days
- The quest will run for 30 days.
- All registered quest crits must start with "Qst_" (I'll forgive variations in the case, e.g. "QST_").
- Non-quest players must not interact with quest players, whether by attacking or passing items to each other. We'll be on the lookout for this and will penalise or even disqualify people if you're caught.
- All bosses and monsters are open to everyone. If you're a quest player and you arrive at a boss that has been taken by non-quest players (or vice versa), you must leave. Most bosses are log-to-local, but as a consequence I'd be cautious taking on Imhotep, say.
- I won't reveal which quest crit belongs to who until the quest has finished for prize-giving, so you can play anonymously if you so desire. There's nothing stopping you from revealing your identity though.
- You are allowed to register more than one quest crit, but they must each be in separate accounts.
- The main objective is to be the first player to reach level 30, for which there will be a prize of a 4ac ring. Runners up who reach level 30 will receive a 3ac ring as a prize.
- There will be side-quests and events that you can participate in for additional prize rings. Item names will be revealed soon.

Stay tuned.

Oh... by the way:

Memo Stig and Scripto immediately when you do reach level 30, otherwise you may not be able to rightly claim first place.

If you manage to level your crit to 30 before the quest's end, you will be rewarded with a... Ring of the Practitioner. If you manage to be the first person to reach level 30, you will be rewarded with a...

Signet of the Practitioner

As well as levelling to 30, there are numerous side-quests that you can partake in, and people who come out on top in each individual category will be awarded with a similarly-named signet with identical stats (I'll let you guys guess the names!)

- Most Sparkling Trinkets collected. (These will be dropped by unique containers and can be transmuted in a way similar to the crystal shards)
- Most monster kills.
- Most unique monster kills.
- Most boss kills.
- Most unique boss kills.
- Most events won. (This includes moshes, quizzes, 1-alt Proficiency Tournament, and more!)

Prizes will not be given out until the end of the quest though, for any category.

As before, players will be split evenly between two clans. Participants with multiple crits will count as one player (since they can only have one of their characters on at any time, so any teamplay events will remain largely fair) and all their crits must be in the same clan. Groups of players who wish to remain together will be considered.

Extra rule... quest players may not use /websell, but there's nothing stopping you from doing private auctions or trades with other quest players in-game.
