I have a new cleric(elf)
Str: 18, Int: 19, Dex: 19, Con: 17, Wis: 20, Chr: 12, Lev: 6
should i keep him or is his chr too low, how much of an effect will only 12 chr have???

That crit is fine. Sure your hp wont be as high as other cleric with 18 constitution, or you wont heal for quite so much.

All in all though that crit is fine, because it will still have 270hp+, and will still heal for over 100. When/If you afford better, then naturally upgrade for one with better stats, but there is nothing wrong with it.

It is amazing how everyone expects and needs perfect stats - but yes, that crit is fine despite being 2 off on Constitution, and as Eternyte has said, as soon as you can afford a Cleric with better stats (or lucky enough to roll one yourself), upgrade. That is what I did with Crane and Turncoat.

It's one off on cons :P

In my opinion it's worth spending that little bit longer rolling, get the cons up to 18, charisma a little bit higher...don't worry so much about the strength really :D

But that, of course, is just my opinion ^_^

Ok Raylen, you've just downloaded Nightmist. You've tried to find a little information on what stats you need.

You're now really itching to get started and explore the game, and get used to the players and it's environment.

The last thing you want to do is roll for 8 hours to get stats that everyone else thinks are good. Personally I think rolling should be removed and you have set stats with +10 points to add to 'fully customise' your character as it says on the website.

Well that's all well and good, provided you have "just started". Let's take a look see at this: (meredeath's thing under where his avatar would be)

So he's probably got started already, explored the game a little, learnt what kind of stats classes need, and is looking to get a nice cleric ^_^

And how could you possibly dream of removing the source of endless frustration that is the roller? :P
