I'm glad we got the quest, being able to solo so easily and so many of the drops ingame isn't the best idea.

4 of drop is reasonable but like 6+ is too much.

I'm glad people eventually got around to just enjoying the quest and doing what they could.
Hope everyone is okay with it having run for an extended time with so many drops getting into the game.

They should still be rare, but at least it isn't like Nightmist where the rare drops are horded to a select few players...

Good to see people working together getting things done, given the small playerbase the drops are not rare at all. Everyone did have a fairly equal chance to get one but should have only been a handful of each ingame 3-4 tops.. It's about 8-10 now.. little overpowering. Thanks for the quest though Gaddy.

still rare..considering there aint but a handfull of mages worth spending the dough on ;D...


edit: think stick is the most rare.. gloves dropped like flies...

That's the idea was far to easy for those few mages to get there hands on it. Plus the sticks can be used by clerics as well since they don't use their weapons much so extra dex for them is a blessing. Should have been harder and less few drops. But happy we even got a quest at least.

heh.. all good.. u just mad you spent a mill on gloves.. get over it.. i spent 700 on em and 500k on hat/stick... i aint crying that there is too many.. i wouldnt have minded there being one of each ingame..cuz i woulda overpaid and got all 3.. kthx

There are multiple uses to the Witches Hat and Broomstick, though some will not initially think on just how useful the Broomstick can be. For the dimmer group, I'll just point out using it on a thief while robbing areas.

There being quite a few Witches Gloves drops is a good thing. Having two or three players with the gloves---and thus easily the best mages by math---in-game was something I wanted to avoid.

The drops are not so fantastic that they overpower a character using them, even stacking them with other questies (that I know of being on 1-alt) doesn't push anyone over the top since there are down sides to the Broomstick and Witches Gloves.

More deaths than I initially intended, but more works out better than less for the overall server. Odds suggest 5-8 of each of the three drops should exist in-game. If that is around the outcome, I am happy with those figures.
