I posted this topic on the last forum.

Look at all the specialty items that fighters and zerkers have. Like rose blade, blade of time, halberd, ect.

what do rangers have for a speciallty item? Nothing.

What do you think? I think there should be a ranger boss drop.

I don't think there need be a better bow, as Rangers hit well enough already.
Rangers were pretty much capped when the Enchanted Bow came out, anything better couldn't be magical (as it'd be unfair), and anything with a higher BD would unbalence the classes further.

Ok a new bow. Sounds great to me A eskimo is right. Rangers like mine go miss, miss, miss, miss, miss, miss hit for 50 damage. Isn't that going to get you mad after a while. AHHH cant kill this stupid goblin. I keep missing!

Did they not have a post on the old forum geared towards bows? People did post quite a few different bows, with descriptions and all, I think it was made by Zephie?

that is an awesome idea, just take the magical off and add +1 base damage.

IMHO there should be a lvl 30 weapon for rangers like all the other classes now have. It should have +1 BD and no magical strike, and it should be called somethin spoofy..

Well actualy i would like a bow that would be like. 20 bd .25vamp magical lvl 27 req. maybe be "Bow of the Winds"

1. vampric bows would be over powered

2. Ranges are fine, but I think there should be more variety, so you can look fancy and stuff, maybe even weaker or the same as an enchanted bow, just a bunch more. Look at fighters for example, they have hallys, rose blade, and royal sword. They are all basically the same thing, just worth different prices, and different descriptions. they are all worth 120k + rangers best bow, worth 10k -.-;;

u cant have a vamparic bow, the arrow can be vamparic but not the bow
