Stamina On 1A

Making this post because I think it is once again time to reconsider the stamina on 1A server.

 

A few classes have become level 40, other classes has been nerfed etc.

 

After having tested almost every class I would suggest this new stamina set up:

 

 

Berserker: 1 4 9 16 23 28 32 36 40

Cleric:        1 8 14 24 28 32 37 40

Druid:         1 7 15 24 28 32 37 40

Fighter:      1 4 10 15 22 26 30 35 37 40

Mage:         1 10 18 24 28 32 37 40

Paladin:     1 6 15 22 29 32 36 39

Ranger:      1 5 12 20 28 31 34 38

Thief:          1 8 17 24 28 32 36 39.

 

 

Red: Changes that should be made straight away. These are mostly midlevel changes that would made the strugle for xp with low stamina a bit faster.

 

Druids and clerics would be fun to play 1 level earlier, same goes for thieves that got nerfed and even need higher levels than they used to for getting their stam.

 

 

 

Green: Changes that would help a nerfed class and a slow leveling class having a bit easier last level to 40 without being too powerfull.

 

 

 

Purple: Changes that might not happen but should be discussed again since only 7 stam on those make ppl skip leveling to 40.

just make every class gain stam at 32 36 40 for levels 31-40 if every class will be 8 stam anyway.

 

I've noticed you left ranger stam very OP on a class that can ignore armor and hit 100 pod mobs at will. lol

 

the thief lowbie table is most awful thing in the entire game.  They miss 50%+ and only hit 30-40 damage til 17.   then 40-70 damage all the way to expert.

 

im not entirely sure all classes deserve 8 stam.  cleric, mage, and ranger do not need 8 stamina it just adds more overkill to their insane damage.  I would also take the covert and damage boosts back on thief  even if the class was 7 stam max like multi.  zerks also 9 stam is overkill.

 

id support 

druid: 1 7 15 24 28 32 37  and 

thief: 1 7 15 22 27 32 36 40. or  1 7 15 22 27 32 37 (damage and covert nerfs removed)

 

Ranger should be changed to 1 5 12 20 28 32 36 40

 

the rest are fine the way they are

 

edit: mages are fine 8 stam because of lack of bossing content and mass absorb in pvp

Theives and Druids need a little help. I still say druids need an 8th stamina. Simply because I dont see the point of leveling past 37.

im unsure of 8 stamina for druids, if they had mod gear like fighters they wouldn't need an 8th stamina.   but then again most classes don't NEED 8 stamina and have it so why not.

Seems I need to go a little more into each class from a 1A point of view.

This is not multi server so refereing to 7 stam on thieves over there does not help this post.

Furthermore I think that having put several bill xp on several classes gives a bit of knowledge.

But trying to take the stam class by class now:

 

Zerks:    Berserker: 1 4 9 16 23 28 32 36 40

 

 

It is true that 9 stam at 9 hits hard. However zerks is a class that does not kill everything solo and have no armor.

 

Zerks used to have 6th stam at level 26, 7th stam at level 31 and 8th stam at level 35.

 

 

Cobalt got nerfed combined with zerks getting stam later making it even harder for a zerk to solo train.

 

 

Hence suggesting 6th and 7th stam put a bit earlier.

 

 

 

 

Clerics:     Cleric: 1 8 14 24 28 32 37 40  

 

 

Clerics work fine as solo chars. Don't even know if they need 8 stam at the end however it would not hurt that 5th and 6th stam comes a bit earlier. Clerics heals for 100+ relative early on and with DU added some break heals for 150+. That gives a nice training speed from level 35.

 

 

 

Druids:      Druid: 1 7 15 24 28 32 37 40  

 

 

Druids can do many things. They can camo to move unseen, they can heal, they can cast buffing spells, cast damage spells and morph to increase melee damage. However at level 37 motivation to level a druid any further is little since a 4 stam regen at level 40 is not very tempting.

 

Lower level druids might need their stam a bit earlier. Level 25 is a tad late for 4th stam and getting to level 33 for 6th stam can also be a long journey. Druids are slower to train than clerics but have more monsters they can hit. Level 32 is a good one for getting 6th stam. Also need to mention that druids got a lot of absorbs when melee hitting monsters.

 

 

 

Fighter:   Fighter: 1 4 10 15 22 26 30 35 37 40

 

Fighters have been given more stam than any other class and have high armor.

 

They have also been given CS to fight pvp. However i find fighter the most boring class to train.

 

I left stamina on fighters unchanged because they at least can be decent sewer farmers with 10 stam at level 40.

 

People say they are good pvp that I never tested however they are not that exciting to play pve/pvm. They got much damage absorbed. Maybe CS should be change to work on monsters not players to make training them more fun.

 

 

 

Mages:    Mage: 1 10 18 24 28 32 37 40

 

 

Mage is a class i have plenty of knowledge about and even leveled to 40. That mages got 8 stam is what saved them from not just rot in peoples accounts.

 

Mages are not used very much in boss parties so are often just forced to solo train or kill minor bosses. Putting more vortex squares in game or give mages scrolls of town portal that work for different towns could make them a bit more apealing as fast traveling companions.

 

The stam change for mages saved the class on 1A.

 

 

 

Paladins:   Paladin: 1 6 15 22 29 32 36 39

 

 

I only leveled a few pallys to 32 and 1 to 33 So is not experts on the highest levels.

 

They are not the fastest chars to train but is able to stay outside town for a while due to both semi good melee skills and aid spell. However it must be a very long struggle to level a pally from 39 to 40 only having 4 stam regen. So suggesting 8th stam moved to 39 to make last level a bit less frustrating. Then they have the legendary status + item to look for at level 40.

 

 

 

Ranger:   Ranger: 1 5 12 20 28 31 34 38

 

 

Another class I have very good knowledge about. Rangers got best bow nerfed. Got armor nerfed like 10 points and finally got hypno revamped so they fail much more on certain monsters. They are good versus monsters but not super good pvp against anything with just decent armor. The way to level 38 is still very long and considering the nerfs it is not op to give then 8th stam at 38.

 

 

 

Thief:    Thief: 1 8 17 24 28 32 36 39

 

 

Thief is prob the class that got nerfed the most. They got damage reduced, con was changed so moving covert takes ages now. And on top of that their stamina comes on later levels.

Thieves used to get their 5th stam at level 26, 7th stam at level 31, 8th stam at level 35 and 8th stam at level 39.

 

They are very hard to train now before getting 6th stam and with the several nerfed they should at least get to train from level 39-40 a bit faster with 5 stam regain from having 8th stam there.

 

5th and 6th stam should be pushed at lest to 28 and 32 or even 27 and 31.

id say the easiest route is to fix the 1-30 table then just make stamina gains 32 36 and 40 for 31+ leveling.  Its unbias, and balanced just on the fact that staff don't need to evaluate every last idea, point of view, or bias opinion.  It just IS what it is.

 

I can say moving 8th stamina gains to lower than 40 does the exact thing you are saying you want to remove. 

 

if every class is 8+ stamina then;

my suggestion:

 

berserker 1 4 10 16 22 28  32 36 40 

cleric        1 7 14 23 28 32 36 40

druid        1 7 15 23 28 32 36 40

fighter      1 4 9 14 20 25 30 32 36 40

mage       1 8 16 24 28 32 36 40

paladin     1 6 14 21 28 32 36 40

ranger      1 6 13 20 28 32 36 40

thief          1 7 15 22 27 32 36 40

I like both ideas on stam (and really agree with the druid and theif spots) but this is a coding thing so why do you guys even mention it?

Also I see all these nerfs as a new player and wonder why you didn't just boost the weaker classes haha.

Til every class can be solo trained but only rich vets with vamp items get to benifit.

I agree with red and green.

 

Not sure about purple.

 

Clerics have a stat increasing haste spell that lasts decently longer than a mages, they don't really need 8stam imo.

 

Druids are, druids. 8stam seems like it'd be broken on a class that always hits, then again without 8stam druids don't seem to be a very..good at lvl 40, that would probably be a good level to put it at.

The only thing that druids excessive str with morph is balanced by is not having an armor peircing way to use it, so 8stam druids seem like they'd hurt zerks bad. That's really the only downside I see. PvM, they wouln't be broken with 8stam imo.

I disagree on the druid point you made. Of course they hurt zerks...that's about it...if they survive the initial click. It boggles my mind that mages get a 5 stamina regain and druids do not. Clerics are fine because of holy might. Maybe atleast give druids a spell like holy might to craft like Recall and Depurate Undead and last as long as morph and gaea's. Besides more hp I don't see the reason in leveling past 37...oh wait I forgot about the +1 strength mod at 40! The new scythe craft really helped druids but they do need something else. Nobody wants to boss with a druid....lol

The answer is simple. Bosses have AC. AC ruins druid, fighter, and pally at almost any boss. Simple fix would be to remove ac at some bosses so all other crits can be the same as thief, ranger, and zerks. But we know that wont or cant happen with the games mechanics.
