I know it's been mentioned numerous times in the past, but nothing has ever come from it and I don't understand why so I'll bring it up again.

The player healing 'pod' experience needs bumped considerably to a level on par with typical cleric training pod.  Around 60 I'd say.  Right now, everyone pretty much sits by themselves doing the repetitive grind on simple mobs they can solo because nobody wants to cleric.  And quite honestly why would a cleric ever cleric for anything other than a boss where they'll receive a chance for a drop. They get next to nothing when clericing a training trip or small bosses with valueless drops.  Bump the player healing experience pod to the levels that a cleric could gain while training themselves, and instantly there will be a willingness to cleric training parties, small bosses that never get done, etc. etc.

Sure, someone could find a buddy to go get beat up in an arena and let them heal them safely, but nobody would do that (except for extremely low level training) when they could be out training traditionally for the same experience and gain gold/drops at the same time.

Encourage party training, exploration, and group fun in general.  Increase the experience gained for healing players.

For me it's all about making clerics attractive to play as a party healer.  The monotony of training is absurdly boring, and if we can encourage clerics to be willing to heal on party training trips, areas that are rarely used will be much more so.  I've been back for approximately a month now and I'm not sure how much longer I can tap macros on the same old boring crap by myself hoping that we get enough people on to do a big boss (which is all that people are willing to cleric).  Heck, make healing players 90-100 pod, so it's MORE of a benefit for clerics to heal a party than to train solo.  Grouping is the fun part of this game, it needs encouraged.

I thought about buffing spells too Piddy, but it's been so long since I played a healer that I'm not sure XP is gained for those spells.  If not, and it's code-able, definitely supported.

I have that song "never gonna happen never gonna happen" going thru my head. On a side note i play every class and like all of them lol.. clicking on this crit is the same as clicking on that crit and they all do have positives and negatives.. like theifs can do some things alot better then zerks, mages suck at drows but theifs click and yadda yadda. i do agree with clerics getting like a 50pod on player heals but i dont see that ever happening. I will also say it has nothing to do with the xp.. it has to do with how much attention a cleric has to spend instead of f1 wait 10secs or even a minute then f1 again and still get in the same random lol. Anyone can tap a mac but keeping up spells and taping ' to watch hps and healing is alot different and thats why you see a select few clericing bosses. I'm usually always around and will cleric if need be, but sometimes i just like to watch tv and tap a mac lol.

Adding this will get nothing but the same results.. why would someone heal 10 people for 60 pod when they can heal themselves and the mob they are training on for the same pod and do tons of other things irl at the same time without worrys of this guy or that guy dying or not enough damage so have to keep spells up lol. I love the idea but i dont see it helping with everyone and their brother wanting to cleric or current clerics wanting to cleric more.

Clericing is by far the funnest thing to do on here thou if u have the time to pay attention fully.

I prefer to Cleric over any other class but you just don't get anything out of it. Chance at an item win isn't enough.

if they made it so that when healing a player is like healing a 70 pod monster that would be nice cause then clerics in a party on bosses would make people actually wanna do it due to training experience!

p.s. it blows when you heal at bosses for 6 hours and get 423k exp, just volunteering for clericing for boss day you have lost 24 million exp, or more on a spelled hitter.

Exactly! Bumping their experience for healing would essentially make a clerics preferred method of training healing players.  When clerics train by healing players, they heal/spell parties not only for bosses but also just simple training/farming trips.  As for leveling items, a cleric would pretty much have the say where they go if they were to spell, and could mix in a run of skeletons and crank out a few fingers etc.

Better yet, the game would go from a solo grind to a more social/fun game.
