If posting ideas for JLH/Pandilex on the Nightmist Forum is too much for them in your mind, why would it be okay for you to send JLH "simple e-mails" and insist he be responsive?

Correct that this is an Admin function (JLH/Pandilex only, I think).

Fair enough on the idea impacting 1-Alt somewhat differently from Main. Perhaps the concept only fits for Main or low-level players on 1-Alt.

However, I disagree about not asking staff to do anything and discouraging other players from posting ideas. Perhaps I am misreading the tone of your posts, but to be clear:

• The Forum is the correct place to post ideas and input on Nightmist improvements, balancing, or development.
  • Specifically, "Nightmist - Improving the Game" section of the forum, including "Suggestions," was created by JLH for that purpose.
  • Staff can engage or ignore as they see fit here.
  • Open discussion of the pros/cons, implementation approaches, and perceived impacts improves ideas, reduces bias, and mitigates development risks.
• Chasing staff on Discord and other personal messaging tools is wrong:
  • Disrespecting their personal time and filters
  • Preventing separation of their volunteer Nightmist efforts and personal relationships
  • Hassling them to do your personal preferences and bidding
  • Preventing open discussion about ideas and impacts
• That kind of misbehavior, manipulation, and abuse is exactly why The Forum is the right way to go.

Anyway, let us be honest - JLH has not posted to the forum since 2015. This is very unlikely to get his attention, much less actually happen.

I do agree that we should all be wildly grateful that he continues to run the game (and still for free). However, posting game improvement ideas to the Suggestion forum is not an ungrateful behavior, in my opinion.

Thank you for laying out the playing field so that I can better follow the trends and norms y'all are experiencing.
