I have a new idea for a mosh. It would mainly be for zerks, rangers, and thieves. It would be a kind of tag mosh. Staff would randomly pick one mosher, or the first to join is 'it'. Nobody can attack but the one that is 'it'. That player gets 1 attack, if the target survives getting hit, then he/she is now 'it'! If the target dies, the player that attacked stays 'it' and gets to attack again. (would be for zerks, rangers, and thieves due to the fact that they can use full stamina with one attack)

Tell me whatcha think about this.

I'm sure there is already an event like that. Hide and Seek, hasn't been run for a while though.

I don't think hide and seek ever got made so that if you're caught you went out. Anyone could join at any point in the game, and I don't think there was even a proper arena for it.
Edit: typo.

This is nothing like Hide and Seek. It's a mosh and you fight to the death just like a mosh. The idea is to BE it. If you are 'it' then you can attack once, and decide who will be 'it' next. In the HAS tag, you are trying to NOT be 'it.'

This seems heavily based on luck.

Do I have enough constitution/HP to take a hit? Is my dexterity high enough?

If this was put in, Berserker's would always win as they have the most amount of HP.

Exactly... if do not kill the intended target... then you have a chance on losing. Just like in a regular mosh.

It's incredibly difficult to round Berserkers.

I can solve this in two ways... thieves and rangers only, or zerks only...

Sure, that's a simple solution but...what about all the other classes? Because these two (or three) classes have "rounding" abilities, they deserve their own special mosh?

03-19-2004 02:27:48: Stotic has started a mosh for levels 1 to 30, alts are NOT allowed, type in /mosh enter to enter the mosh. This mosh is only open to druids, paladins.

Sure, why not?

That's different.

That's a "normal" mosh - something that can be modified.

You're proposing making a whole new event JUST for 2 classes.

I am not proposing a 'whole new event' as you put it. I am proposing some modifications to a 'MOSH' to make it different, thus more interesting. It can be tried as a test. Then we can see if it's any fun or not. If it does come out, and you don't like it... nobody will force you to /mosh enter.

I'm going to post a new mosh idea. This is made completely for clerics and paladins and maybe druids. They all get rubber knives and last person standing would win. The thing is, though, they all get their HP drained at a constantly increasing rate. Last person standing, wins.

I think this is a great idea. Let's have a test run. If it comes out and you don't like it, nobody is going to force you to do /mosh enter.

They can already make a mosh for just clerics/druids/pallies. And have hp drain. Its not that great.

Grenade mosh pwns you all!

I know a simple solution....

First you would have to make it that the person gets a FULL ROUND of stamina, or else all other non-one hit classes would be left with moshes that lasted far too long.

Then, Said staffer just starts up a tag mosh just like a normal mosh. Which means they could restrict the mosh to a certain class.

See simple.
