Why not make the new class names like priest, slayer, guardian ect. reserved for characters level 31+. At the moment you get them at archmaster, and they have no significance, since being archmaster tells you a crit is L30 anyway. Under my system the priest/slayer names would signify something, ie that the crit has paid its fee and can level past 30. Also the guildmasters at the l31+ guilds are called 'slayer guildmaster', 'priest guildmaster' ect, surely this should mean you must train with them before you can entitle yourself slayer/priest ect.

I agree.

The new titles should apply for levels 31+ instead of 30+.

I also think "Grandmaster" should be applied at level 36+, not level 35+, as that is when the level requirements change.

I agree with the class names, but I like the idea of having Grandmaster for the first level after you breach the 1 billion xp mark as that's what it used to be.

Let's not forget the gold stars that encircle a player's name on the website. Should that be made level 36+ too (assuming Grandmaster is shifted up one level) or keep that at level 35+?

For Grandmaster... even though level 36 is where the requirements change, I would personally keep it at 35 because upon reaching that level, the Guildmaster has taught you all that he/she knows, so grading you to Grandmaster (much like a martial arts grading) would be the final step. After that, you can only teach yourself and follow your own path (of the Grandmaster guilds I've seen so far, they are devoid of much scenery and have no Guildmaster, but emphasise self-discovery), until you reach perfection in the mastery of yourself and your craft and become fabled and Legendary.

Would the new system be something like this (using a female Cleric as an example):

Level 29 - Master Cleric
Level 30 - Archmaster Cleric
Level 31 - Archmaster Class I Priestess (personally, I think "Archmaster Priestess, Class I" sounds better, but I'm not sure how easy it is to splice the strings like that)
Level 32 - Archmaster Class II Priestess
Level 33 - Archmaster Class III Priestess
Level 34 - Archmaster Class IV Priestess

Under this, the class rank makes the crit's level more obvious (e.g. Class II = 32, the rank being the units digit of the level).

Long story short, I support the advanced class name being put at level 31 or higher.

I totaly agree. I get mixed up somtimes seeing Class II thinking its lvl 32 and not 31.. I get tired of looking at a V in Archmaster Class V Sorceror. When level 34... I also think that 35 should still = grandmaster since its the 1st level after 1b exp.
