Seeing as there has been a influx of players since may a lot that have left due to pking/bomb doucheness. I have been trying to train in various arenas and the exp and gold is horrible....I know of 4 or 5 of the 15 players who started with me would come back if the arenas were better than they currently are cause right now it takes 3 hits to move my exp bar 0.01% at level 27. A lot of new players also feel like they have to join a clan for "protection" which should not be the case. A lot of us work full time jobs and a family and don't have the time to train for 8 hours a day or more. Needs to be more than one option for new players pre 30 to gain exp without feeling they are gonna be strong armed by the older douhebags that lurk. Right now would be a good time to look at new player relations instead of more high end gear lolol.

Arena's xp is hard coded, and the owner of the game who codes....well he doesnt really do much for the game anymore.

We can get round the hard coded arena aspects by creating arena specific monsters with disproportionately high PoD that would then provide higher exp in the arenas.

 

Thank-you for your thoughts as a new player, I agree with what you are saying and will look to discuss this with other staff and make some changes to benefit the new/low level community.

There are several arenas in some towns.  Level lock one of the arenas in the town with high(er) PoD monsters, while still allowing higher levels to farm item drops safely, with less PoD.

IMO for levels 1-30 arenas should only be an option for them to escape the pressures of high pking but training out in the wild should still be a bit better than arena. I would say let up to level 31 be able to farm items in arenas but anything after that no because at that level you should have some basic equipment an a weapon to defend yourself with also if you are level 31 chances are you will be bossing gaining gold/exp/equipment and therefore don't need the safety of a arena anymore unless you have made someone mad and feel like that's the only option.

There's items in arenas that are used for leveling characters 35+. Those items are in arenas due to the fact they are far harder to get then other items (black shards namely). On top of that, you need a party to boss, which means the few people not in the 2 bigger clans are left out of your arena idea. If arenas are fixed they should stay as they are, geared towards certain level characters wether that be level 15s or level 35s.

I didn't know that the black shard were put specifically into arenas for people to farm to level up currently the highest I have made it is level 28 so anything past it is outside of my knowledge base. Still if the black shard is dropped in a arena then maybe it should drop somewhere else outside and leave the arenas for the lowbies given if the things are able to be killed by anything lvl 30 and under. Also if these black shards can be farmed by lowbies it would give new players an option to farm them for income to buy much needed gear. This goes for any item that can be used for post 30 leveling that is dropped in arenas. I think it would generate commerce with new players and vets I have sold feathers and bloods for a decent bit of gold.

Black Shards do drop outside of the arena, but due to the near impossibility of getting them, the were placed in a higher level arena. Even then just as low level characters can be harassed so can higher level characters. Arena's are an option for all people, not just new players and lowbies.
