Well, since Paladins are basicly a cross between Cleric and Fighter, shouldn't they have hp more like a fighter and less like a cleric? Most clerics seem to get around 300hp, (although dwarfs usually get around 325) and so do Paladins. I think Paladins should get around 330hp, so they'll have more closer to fighter hp.

Not much more, ling fighters have a max of what, 12 I believe? I don't think pallies should gain 12's.

Since alot of old topics have been bumped, I wanted to join in on the fun!

Pallys shouldn't get 12s, but maybe more 11s or 10s then normal, I'm thinking overall 10+ hp at arch then normal. It's not that much more really, 325 would be top hp, which a nice cross between human cleric and human fighter.

Human:
Cleric 305 average
Pally 315 average
Fighter 335 average

Their hp would be around same of average highest cleric (dwarf) and lowest hp fighter (ling), I think it looks more balancing atleast.

Yeah, I'd like to see pallys have more hp, since they suck. In all honesty, I don't see why they can't have the same hp gains as fighters. They still have 1 less stam and hit a lot less often.

I don't see the need for more HP. Paladins are as good as you make them. Paladins can 1 v 1 any class and win, with maybe the exception of Druids. You just need tactics.

Yeah, but that's pretty much all pallys have ever been good at, 1v1's. They're just not very usable for most of the rest of the game. Although realistically, I guess having 30hp will only make them better at 1v1, and won't solve this issue.

We could make them hit like Fighters (perhaps slightly less) and keep their HP the way it is?

They'd still be lacking the stamina point but would prove more useful.

A good idea, considering that even hitting the same as fighters they have 1 less stam. Tbqh, I tried using a pally in a party and it was a complete disaster simply from the fact that my cleric could prolly do more than them, they struggled to hit for a 100 as a total of my 3 hits and more often that not I had rounds of 12 or less damage(miss, miss and armor block), this was taken with them on full spells :\.

Also on a sidenote I'm still at a loss to why we can't have dwarf paladins, considering we have dwarf clerics and dwarf fighters.

Holy Speed and Divine Prayer need to make a greater difference to how a pally hits and how often. I don't see a problem with boosting pally's hp a touch, but I see no real need for it. 5 stamina is fine.
