Instead of showing that there is new posts since the last time you went in the forum, it shows if there are any topics that you haven't read. Am I right about this, and is it supposed to be like this?

Edit: I was wrong, it's if you go into forum, and not read any topics it still shows that there are new posts there.

kinda hard to c if there are new posts/topics compared to the yabb one if you ask me

Mhmm.. It seems to show up as a new post even when I was the one posting, and have just left that forum..

Perhaps there is a problem with cookies or your security settings?

I have to admit though that the YaBB board used to have the problem of marking read topics as unread for no apparent reason...

I just realised, I actually have to read a post twice before it registers it has been read and changes.. Ah well, I'll get used to it

I won't... This sucks.. I like the old forum better now.. :cry cry:
But honestly, I do like the way the old one works, how if you just go into a certain forum, it marks it has read, but still has the topics as new once you go in that forum. I like that. I don't like this.. Oh well..

lol dont use it then? so many people are complaining about how it 'sucks' and soforth, but they could just not use it instead as the NM site says, OLD forum NEW forum
