Library info for Stalker's Mask:
Armor base: 4, Can be worn by: druids, Description: Sitting in your hands, this item is little more than a damn pile of leaves that cling together with surprising force. When held to your face, the leaves seem to shift to form a close-fitting mask that is surprisingly strong. A gentle whisper, much like the wind passing through tall grass, echoes in your ear, quietly urging a step to the right or a lean to the left to avoid the dangers of combat., Level needed to equip it: 33, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 0, Dexterity modifier: 1, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 0.

That's the Stalker's Mask as it is. My suggestion to improve it is give it a +1 charisma modifier. My reasoning being that Antlers are the base item used to make the Stalker's Mask.
Jaded ingame.

I'm okay with it personally, since the Antlers are the base item and such a stat is fairly superficial. My only slight concern is that it will make the item appear VERY familiar to the Shaman's Mask.

The Shaman's Mask on main server is a Pacifist only item. There is no equivalent for any non-pacifist class.
Jaded ingame.

I agree that it doesn't change anything.
However, perhaps it could be a chance to force crafting or the sort?

Maybe it's time to start developing level 35+ items?
Higher armor for all classes at 31-34, 35-37, and 38-40 would be pretty legit on Multi. I would avoid much in the way of additional stat mods without extreme cost or crafting. Are you open to suggestions with that Stig?
If so, I may have a few ideas.

I know once I made a suggestion to allow Druids to use the Shaman's Mask, but I'm not sure what effect it will have to allow Druids to use a +1 Dex helmet 3 levels earlier. My concern was due to the fact that they're both "masks" and both would give +1 Dex and +1 Chr, yet are used by different classes and might be a source of confusion as well as a potential source of RP inconsistency.

As for level 35+ items, start a topic on the staff forum and we'll see what we can devise.

I used to be pretty wrapped up with stat mods since I put everything into one character, going for the description modifiers. If I remember right the Stalker's Mask was/is the only item that actually loses something (the +1 char) from the base item before getting cashed in. I always thought it was BS. Too late for me to really care now, but I always did think it should be changed. Didn't seem to get much traction when there were more people who played, but I guess when a couple people out of 10 who play think it needs changed it makes up a good portion of the player base lol.

Cut the side topic stemming from something else I wrote to Stig. Also cut that from my post and Stig's response as well.

My edit above was edited to cut out a side note about Stig that I should not have posted and that Autek responded to...it had nothing to do with the topic. I was letting him know that I changed his post. I also changed Stig's post and my own as well.
