it has alot of fancy modifiers that are seemingly not present when u actually wield the weapon.

did not work on mummy zombies ghast ghoul ghost skeletal/skeletons or water wraith.

didnt check shadows obv no point and spirit i plan to later.

so far it works on demons vampires and blackguards. so its massively downscaled for its ease to get i imagine.

FYI those on that monster damage table, means any monster with that word in their name, it will do the said multiplier to it. (Should of worked on water wraith, but not on the rest you said didnt work on)

edit: id also like to know which word is a modifier on dwarven pickaxe "dungeon" or "initiate" or is there some invisible stat since it seemed to start working while your buddy jase was staff. seems it doesnt hit 800s on dungeon guard must be initiate.

oops i hope i didnt leak a special staff training spot.

The drop rate was not upped, I can assure you of that.

The weapon should have worked on the Water Wraith due to the presence of "wraith:2" in the monster damage table - I'll double check this. As said, if the word appears in the monster's name, then damage done on it is multiplied by the given number, so 2 is double damage. You also have little effects like "demon" affecting monsters named "Demonic", and "evil" affecting monsters named "Devil".

Most undead monsters don't have an entry in the monster damage table - trying to cover every undead minion is impractical because it will make the damage table far too convoluted and risk causing false positives. For example, the original design would have had "black" in it to affect Blackguards, Black Knights and Black Paladins due to their evil alignment, but this would have also affected Black Bears and Black Scorpions, which are True Neutral animals. However, notice that the Sword of Light, on top of its monster damage table, has a base damage of 28 (reasonably good), gives +2 armour, and is also +1 Wisdom to aid with healing the undead that don't appear on the table... it also has the side-effect of increasing magic resistance if you are fighting players.

It's a specialist weapon, but it's good at what it does. Hope this convinces everyone of its value.

didnt really hit water wraith that many times prolly 15x and never hit over 85 lol kinda ill luck i suppose. we healed it to death after that because of missing 3/4 of stam but was informed a few days later it does work.

as far as most things pvp the wis and armor are irrelevant as you either get clicked or you dont or you have to endure through the vamp rate of a cobalt which is near impossible w/o having one yourself. basically its just another situational training weapon for a single class. if cobalt was removed i could easily see 10m for a weapon like this but it wasnt removed. even after my "missing" 2007 remove vamp from 1a thread.

theres barely enough interest in this because of cobalt being a better option or lack of gold to lvl anything makes things seemingly cheap but gold is time and considering its near 100+ days of time of solid training to achieve legendary status theres barely any time left to buy extras. also paying top dollar for an item to remove yourself from the opportunity of a free one isnt the best choice.
