my nightmist doesent work it gets up connection established then just stays there what do i do...ive done all the alternate dns and port thing

Restarted as in deleting it, running nightmist setup again and installing it?

Just wait, it happens to me, I sit there for 5 minutes, then it goes, sometimes it takes less than 1 sec.

It happens to me on one of my Window XPs because I've got some Norton Virus Protection thing. or at least that's what it said...

I just want to say that I haven't had any problems lately with NM... but a while back I did.... When deleting and reinstalling you have to remove all parts of NM... including any NM shortcut icons you have on your desktop... If you're missing any files you should be able to find them on google =)
