I think once a Ranger gets 500mil xp, he should be titled to Archer and not Hunter, Rangers are innitially built to survive in the wilderness and make peace with it, now they're suddenly hunters who kill wild animals all around the forest? Nah, make it Archer, would be better.

And because you're a Hunter, people automatically assume that you hunt wild animals.

A Hunter could very well be a specialized Ranger who preys upon those that destroy or hinder the growth of the forest (be it human, monster or even animal).

Or change the original class name to 'Scout' and have the arch name 'Ranger'. DUN DUN DUN!!!!

I really dont see why there should be a name change... Although Rangers being able to use other weapons besides Bows and certain high priced stats would be more beleivable, Seeing as Rangers,according to a crap load of resources, Are able to use all forms of melee combat and ranged combat. But yeah, THe name Ranger should be deleted entirally(sp) and be replaced with Archer.

In the beginning when we assembled the list of class names after 500mil exp... I had put in Archer as they are specialised in Bow's and NOTHING else. But people prefered Hunter above it with the argument "Archer looks less than ranger"
Bottom line, we all had a good long time before this was implemented to ´speak up and clear the air with random suggestions, most of you refrained thus I'd say you have yielded your right to bring the matter up once more... It won't be changed, not this easily.

I don't, Archer looks sucky really, and as for "Archmaster Archer"...

And yeah, to survive in the wild you need to kill stuff, silly, that's why they have bows

archers specialize in shooting their little bows.. they dont track and forage.. and whats wrong with hunter anyway? theres nothing beastly about hunting. An archer probably wouldnt even venture far out into the wilderness.. he'd stay and guard a castle and shoot at styrofoam targets all day lol.

This is a rather trivial matter, don't think it really matters in this case. Archer, hunter. Either way, if you get one of those titles, i think you should be recognized as someone who plays a lot and who has entirely to much time on their hands. lol j/k

Archer was originally suggested, but it appears to be a lesser 'rank' than Ranger, and as Raylen has said, "Archmaster Archer" looks absolutely awful, so Hunter was chosen.

Long story short, I prefer "Hunter" over "Archer", the way it currently is.
