Dhampire

The Dhampire has the appearance of a vampire and it looks hungry and by the way its acting you're going to be its next meal.

The Dhampire attacked you with its rapier for 34 points of damage.

Coffin

The Coffin stands against the wall closed and locked, it seems to be the bed of the master vampire.

You fall down into a dark cave, you see a faint light Up, and darkness
all around you.

You are surrounded by darkness, you may climb up out of the cave or try to go deeper into it.

Crimson River Cave - river

You hear the sound of flowing water near by as you walk through the darkness of the cave.

All around you is darkness there is no light to be seen.

Crimson River Cave

The sound of the river fades as you move away from it into another pathway.

The sound of the river is behind you as you move down the path.

Vampire Lair

Torches line the walls here, and there seems to be a ladder at the other side of the room leading upward.

There is a ladder on the other side of the room, but the Vampire Master is guarding it with his life.

Masters Chamber

Torches line the wall here and you see a coffin sitting up in the corner of the room.

The room is brightly lit, you may go back into the darkness to the -

Coffin - kill for tricresent key

Dark Chamber

You have found your way into the room of a Dhampire, if you're lucky someone has already came and killed him.

You may go back to the path to the -

Dhampire, kill to pass

Well done I like it. The drop, however, may need to be changed as it would render certain rare items ingame useless.
I wouldn't mind stabbing you in the face, if that's cool with you?

Lower the drop %... would greatly overpower zerkers and even fighters for that matter to have a magical weapon same base damage as halberd. Having a magical weapon is what greatly makes rangers more useful in many situations than zerkers... Giving zerkers this weapon would mean you wouldn't need rangers to kill the CG, why train a ranger when zerkers are easier...

The drops are good, but the old Apocalypse Blade does need some adjustment. Try Base Damage 23 or 24 if it is going to be Magical, because 25 Magical is the Christmas Blade.

The idea and monsters look okay, mind you - I would like to see a sample of a map (not off all it, obviously - that would spoil the fun).

okay drop base to 22, lower drop to 35% and make it lvl 28 is that okay with everyone?

That sounds better, maybe a little too low now! Also, the monsters may have to be toughened up a bit, especially the bosses, because chances are, people will be entering this area with a lot of alts and a number of clerics for healing. As an example, the Demonic General attacks for 60 damage, and can be dealt with fairly easily if you have patience.

I know how hard it is to design an area, and you've done pretty well so far.

someone was argueing it should be lower because the only good thing about rangers was because the cg, so i made it 22.. he says it should be 20 base damage 25% drop, ill make the monsters stronger and i forgot to put in healing only does half damage

The idea is cool, I don't like the weird names though.

I think better descriptions should be made too.

But nobody ever looks at the descriptions though.

It looks nice, but the gold is too much, if pacis can go here it would replace the zuem, less gold please. Other than that and matters already disscussed, I like this area, where is it near?

What about making the weapon vampiric since the boss is a vampire? 0.30 vampiric? and lower the damage?

I NEVER said the only good thing about rangers is that they can kill CG. I said this would make rangers you see less rangers in game, because a lot of people use them for CG. There's tons of good things about rangers, dont make me sound like an idiot.

I still think it should be 20 bd and 25% if you're gonna keep it magical... You also said ingame u never owned a zerker so you wouldnt understand how it would overpower...

fixed the paci problem by makeing heal spells only do half, so the gold is fine, mec, the names i used are actually types of vampires in legend, so they'll do fine and no one does look at descrips, good idea terence, thats how it started originally

Well, the area sounds like it's been tweaked pretty good so far. But what about the experience per point of damage on the monsters? Is that implemented only by staff or what?

Ok, a 6 stam smite on my zerker, i did 259+ damage, because i clicked my master pally (17 con, 20 dex, gift :P). So, .2*259=50.6

Kinda overpowering if you ask me, considering the smite was unspelled

My zerker with 6 stam has an unspelled record (that i saved) of 504. with zerk on a hedge minion. 100.8 hp restored, i thbink overpowered

yea but that was probally a luck hit, and zerkers lose hp to attack with berserk and smite, anyway that was with a hally drop the damage by a few give it a str mod of -1? will that make you happy sneaky?

quite a few mage around so would help quite a bit + if u have gloves that give u plus ste would be fine just and extra wis

A negative strength mod on a sword doesn't seem to fit. .2 vampiric base damage 21 seems to be fine to me. After all Fighters and Berserkers are now the only classes I believe that can't buy a magic or vampiric weapon other than Cobalt, excluding Christmas Balde and Rune blade as they are only quest items. Berserkers do enough damage and take enough to make a .2 vampiric weapon not all that overpowering, especially with the same base damage as a pike.
