I went to the first day of download scotland last year mostly just to see Metallica but it was an awesome day. There was only 4 bands, good bands though well apart from HIM they suck but Korn and Slipknot were good and i was in the pit area so i was pretty close to the stage legs were killing me after it and i could barely talk aaah memorys .
Didnt get any picks or drum stick though .

Hmm, i saw Dave was so pleased with the way The System Has Failed turned out and that how the band get along well, that the Megadeth chapter is not yet closed i hope they will be around for a few years to come yetI wanna go see Megadeth to but no money lol its suppose to be there last ever european gig. The first day looks really crap though only good bands are Megadeth and Apocaliptica.

I havn't even heard of half the bands on it, and personally - I prefer to see the old school legend bands rather than see a full set of bands I don't even know.
Who have you got that'd be anygood? - I can only see chimaira, hatebreed, er......

It might just be the fact that you're from the UK that you don't know these bands, but over here their premier bands in their respective genre's. It was probably my most favorite lineup I've ever experienced. Then again if you're not into metalcore/hardcore then it might not be your style.
