I was born without an аss, so I had one tattoo'd on my lower abdomen.

oi i want one but does anyone know if you can tattoo over scars on your spine? or is that gonna kill me? cuz when i get surgery on my back i'll have a big scar down my spine and i want a crying angel to cover it.

like wings go to the top of my shoulders and then body goes down my spine.

I think I'll pass on the tattoos. I nearly thought I was going to die with my tongue piercing and it being my very first piercing.

On right upper arm wolf in a dream catcher,
Left arm upper a wolf on a Full moon blood dripping from its teeth as though it has just made a kill, below that Tribal Native American arm band that wraps the whole of my arm with feathers that stretch from the bone Medalion on bicep to my elbow, last inside of my Bicept connecting the arm band a rose in full bloom.

I have just 1 so far. But I want more. I'm not gonna post a picture of mine because it's a purple rose (for my middle name) that starts just above my breast and continues on it.

Jurian: I dont know if getting tats on scars hurts more but I was told by the woman that did my tattoo that the top of the foot, and where a lot of girls are getting tat's at now: in the small of your back, are the most painful places to get a tattoo because there's not much flesh under them. So places that are just bone covered in skin are ouchy apparently.

my m8 wants a tatoo on the bottom of his foot but nobody will do it ebcause it;'s too painfull. there's many nerves and nuts there so they won;t.

i'll just c what a tatoo artist sais.

I've found that they seem to hurt pretty badly on raised scars, but it never hurt scars level with the rest of my skin.

1 quarter body tat on my left side, going down and around my arm, up over my shoulder onto my neck and down over my chest and back. Its Maori tribal, inch thick, solid black. It took four and a half hours in 1 sitting. It bloody hurt, alot.

Gecko on my right chest.

Chinese characters running down my back to the right of my spine saying 'Kiss my shiny metal ass!'

and Woogie, my dead brothers tag on my left calf.

Jurian, best way to find out is get the tattooist to try with an empty needle on the scar tissue.

/t wafer - ive got a question for ya... ive always wondered y ppl wud want tattoos covering majority of the body... y did u choose to get so many tattoos? alot of ppl think its gross but i really dont know what to think of it. i mean... ive seen some cool body tattoos... but i never could figure out y someone would want so many. whats ur reason?

i can understand that if sum1 likes tattos and its a way to express themself, thats y they get them... but what wud make u want to tattoo majority of ur body?

I don't know how others feel about it, but to me it's almost like an addiction. When I went to get my first tattoo I was sure it would just be that one, small and in an area not everyone gets to see. Later on it somehow felt like it wasn't enough, went and got the next one, and shortly after that I realized I wanted the one on my back as well, thinking that would be the last for sure. Now I have the next one planned out already, go figure.

the worst part is when the their figure/age/ect changes and the tattoo gets all messed up

For example, I know I guy who got his entire arm tattoo'd (of a naked chick) before Vietnam, and now the chick looks like he does.....

/t harley. I really like tats, always have.

The big 1 is a grower in that I've added to it and can add more as I want (but I don't think I will, think its finished now).

But I don't just bang on a tat if I'm bored. I think there is a balance to them all, an asthetic quality with my body as a canvas.

I don't like lots of tats with no plan, with just lots of different tats slapped on every which way.

As Tanja said, I found it very addictive though and I would warn anybody to really think about getting 1. And DON'T get your significant others name tattooed on, cas that the kiss of death to any relationship, plus a hefty laser removal bill! lol

im bout to get my first tattoo on my birthday and ive heard from lots of ppl that they are real addictive... ive told a couple ppl that i wanted a tattoo and my idea for the tattoo i want but alot of ppl say "thats dumb.. in a couple years, u'll look back on it and think u made a big mistake gettin a tattoo." now... ive put alot of thought into getting this tattoo and its sums up my personality and who i am all in 1 tatt. i dont think its that bad getting tattoos.

i get cracked up at alot of ppls reactions to tattoos. ppl associate tattoos and piercings with like ex-cons... and gang members and such.
