I have stayed out of several topics concerning andy/chris' recent unfortunate event, and have seen ed/bill's posts. There is nothing wrong with these points, and there was absolutly no reason for them to be locked. Ed/Bill (sorry dont know which one) stated very valid points according to what action, or lack there of, the staff have taken to help some people and not others. I am not going to get into that, but I would like to say, that the moderating of the forums, especially the last couple locking of topics, have been done with comepletly illogical reasonings.

Regardless, what has happened, is done and all we can do is post repeatidly saying how moderating is unfair etc, and posts will keep getting locked, still providing the fuel for people to get angry. But it was not my post being locked (im giving this one 5 minutes) what i am trying to get at is, if people have views to express about unfairness etc...Let them post it!

There is only need to lock a topic if it gets out of hand or off topic. Neither of any of these posts have, so where is the logic?

Something to think about Crane.

Whine Whine Whine.

If you have a problem with how he moderates, e-mail JLH or Pandilex. If they disagree with how he is doing his job he wouldent be doing it now would he?

Regardless, people have the right to express their views. And he has no right to lock them without reason.

Negative, This is JLH and Pandilex's game, they can do whatever they want.

They do not have to let you express anything.

Jesus mooseing Christ you all pregnant dog a lot.

Go whine to JLH and Pandilex about his moderation and see what they say.

Im not argueing that they should let all the BS things be said, but we have a good right to complain about certain decisions etc. If they chose to lock it then its by their regard and its left at that, and all posting of the such should cease. Like Penguin said in the other post, it is awesome he is doing his job actively, but he does need to loosen up the jock-strap a lil, and give a gigantic sigh. Would do him alot of good, and would allow the rest of the community to breathe as well.

I've read over these topics (4 of them now, I believe?) and I still don't understand what all this hub-bub is about.

Okay, someone gave their password away and was stolen from. It happens often and only people who don't understand this game will complain.

Also, if your points are so 'valid', then do you need support? Why do you need to post on the forums? Surely, if your points are as 'valid' as you say they are, a PM/email to JLH would suffice.

Crane is moderating. He is weeding out topics that just cause internal strife. If anything, he's saving us all from a lot of grief.

if you have a problem with my staff, you talk to me...

Very childish if you ask me. Yes, I know it wasn't fair - this person was treated better than that and so on and so forth... Maybe you should save this line to so you can call me a hypocrite later on in life but honestly, if you're going to share, share knowing that you will eventually get stolen from.

Maybe if the Nightmist community was so power-driven, this wouldn't be the case. But, sadly, it is. So put what you have somwhere safe, out of the reach of others.

I realise that JLH would prefer an email about complaints of his moderators etc. But the fact of the matter is, every topic needs support, even if it is valid. Just because its valid doesnt mean its going to go anywhere without support. Such is the case with anything done irl, if you do not have the support backing you, it is almost impossible to get your thoughts noticed.

I quite honestly do not care whether any of you agree with me, I just care about the freedom to express my thoughts openly, regardless if they were against anothers actions. These are the differences that make the world go 'round, and we all have to learn to live with them. Yes there is a bit of favortism, but there is anywhere you go, so again, we have to live with it, but it doesnt mean we cannot voice our complaints about it. That's what this whole topic is about, incase some of you have lost sight of it.

It's been clear for quite some time that complaints are to be emailed to admins.
