i see there's a lot of poll'd for nicest person in nm and nuts, but i'm curious who you think are the three coolest/funny/influencial people on the forums there is.

my top three are filled with ties because i find the people very similar. here they are:

1) newb/deval (two parts hilarity mixed with three parts originality)
2) epic/alone....old ice cold (voices of reason/common sense)
3) stotic (quisk puns chalk full of sensibility)

do your own. fill it with similarities but keep it to three. have fun with it kiddos.

Newb/Flux's posts always made me laugh for some reason. Bishop/Valentine got a lot of needless abuse from the nightmist forums, but continued(continue? not sure if either are active ingame or on boards anymore) to contribute to the game in spite of it, so they earned my respect. Charon also seems to make nothing but well thought out posts and valid suggestions, but noone else really stands out/instantly comes to mind.

Amy - Always bids us good day as the conclusion of her posts - on top of that she will always try to give advice and answers on the topics with a question starting them.

Charon - very long posts, but all of what she says has a point. Tends to be quite patient with others, although I may be horribly mistaken!

Squee - once again, very long posts, but all of what he says has a point. Generally a very friendly guy who avoids getting angry on the forums. Also one of the best role-players in Nightmist, in my opinion - of course, so are Amy and Charon.

I only see 2

1. Stig - I may not always see eye to eye with what he says, he still is man enough to write well though out complete sentances, and he stands firm on what he says.

2. Gaddy - Occasionally rambles on about things, but still puts thought behind what he is trying to say.

4. Rappy - One of the best sense of humors on this game.But some people are too "mature" to find his nuts funny.

Respectable people on the forums...hmm...

Two, Harky, dognapot, Deval and Flux all for the same reasons. They can take a joke, dish them out (rather well), and present valid points in an argument. These people are members of the cool intellectual society. Don't be confused, though. I added "cool" in there for a reason. Yeah there are some pretty sharp people on these boards, but they lack the pizazz, the bam, the bang, the spice. Without humor, having some smarts is no fun. You just spout out boring stuff. Getting your point across and leaving a smile on someone's face is much more effective and fulfilling than conventional methods. Well, I kind of went overboard. I don't know where this came from.

I guess I can list two more, because those five previously mentioned people were all for the same reason (ohsnap cheats).

alone is a different kind of guy. There's not a good way I can explain it. Despite his gloomy demeanor, he's just a big teddy bear. I believe his positive interest in the game is slowly creating some changes that will perhaps drag it out of the whorish pit it has fallen in.

Last but not least, I have to give my respect to Gaddy. He's kind of like a mixture between alone and a cool intellectual. That's probably the best way I can put it. Gaddy is a genuinely nice guy, even if he does play Nightmist too much and makes funky looking posts (length, various colors etc.).

I hope I didn't disappoint any of you non-respectable members of the Nightmist forum community. Ha. Ha. Ha.

P.S. I wanted to list Squee, but then that would be like listing four. Much love to my Asian-Canadian thug (but fix your grammar and spelling :F).
