If like one of the staff gave ONE mutant rat like 100,000 or sumthin and said that theres a rat with 100,000 and everyone goes down there and tries to find the rat. I think that would be awesome.

After Pandilex's April-Fools joke with the Bunnies and Bracelets of Speed, I doubt people will take it seriously anyway. Also, 100,000 gold is a lot of money, and gold like that should be earnt only through hard work and a lot of patience, not in the stomach of a mutant rat!
It would also encourage far too much PKing as well.

maybe there should be one rat, and when you kill it you lose 100,000 gold, or however much you have

Sometimes I'm stupid enough to go stand with him... unfortunately when I tried that I died first. Which was a shame

I like this idea, only if twisted around a little, give Crazy Pete 5 billion gold, I would laugh at the attemps of people to kill him.

Heh - no-one has ever killed Crazy Pete to my knowledge. Someone even tried using a Jaguar Potion once!

I killed the first few parties that came there but then two parties of six came and I can only log four alts all together so...

I see no problem, would keep me busy for 10 mins. Instead of mocking idea's like this more things like this should be done... maybe not as narrowed down as a rat but maybe a monster in the outer area of NM city.
Either way the idea is not perfect but A am just getting sick of the same thing over and over ingame just quietly.
