An ancient dwarven city long forgotten by the inhabitants of nightmist, Ungart, lies somewhere beyond the barrier forest. The dwarven elders decided almost an eon ago to cut themselves off from the rest of mankind. Built upon the Ungart mines, the dwarfs of Ungart flourished and soon became farmers and skilled tradesmen as well as some of lands greatest metal workers. Word of Ungart came recently from a dwarf who was banished from the cities protected walls for some act he will never repeat. After days of stumbling through the barrier forsest, he stumbled upon a grassy meadow and eventually found himself in Nightmist. Never one to turn down a free drink, this dwarf joined the few partons at The Sleeping Fox for a tankard of ale. After several care-free hours and many tankards later, Melock (as his name was found out by some at the pub) mentioned an ancient dwarven city that none had ever laid eyes on. He described a magnificent city built above the mines of Ungart and fields that streched for miles. When questioned why he left this great city Melock quickly shut his mouth and wouldnt speak another word of it. Lucky for a small band of adventures they had followed Melock out of the Barrier Forest, and new it must lie somewhere to the north. After gathering supplies they set out on a quest that they had no idea would result in finding Ungart, the lost city. For days they traveled, encountering bandits roming the woods looking for unexpecting prey. There was plenty of game for hunting as well as snakes, bears and the ocasional wolf. Finally the band of adventures stumbled upon the great city known as Ungart. The first thing that they noticed was the great tower of the founders.

This is just a simple background on a new area I was thinking of. This would just be a city with perhaps a new "dungeon" to go with it... I have more written but would like some feedback to see what everyone thinks. Any ideas and/or suggestions are greatly apperciated.

Thanks T

The entrance should have 2 gaurds that "might" drop the key to the city. If they don't then try again in 10 minutes, when you do, they city is like others, but when gone to the king, there is a quest of some sort?
