halfling= +5 AC
halfelf = +2 1/2 cheeper attribute cost
gnome = I cant remember
halforc= i dont remmember
but since the attribute points were scraped as an idea i was wondering if the bonuses were ever changed or balanced out? Anyone have an answer?

Dwarves get +5% damage underground.
Gnomes have a higher magical resistance % (the number escapes me, though).
I dont know about half-orcs, though.

Human = 5% cheaper attribute costI'm an old NM player, been playing since shortly after the very first reset, but alas i left for about 9 mos and only recently came back. I was just wondering whatever happened with the race bonuses. From what i remember it used to be:
Human = +5 cheaper attribute cost
Elf = +5 str bonus in forest
dwarf = +5 str underground
halfling= +5 AC
halfelf = +2 1/2 cheeper attribute cost
gnome = I cant remember
halforc= i dont remmember
but since the attribute points were scraped as an idea i was wondering if the bonuses were ever changed or balanced out? Anyone have an answer?
Elf = +5% damage in forest
dwarf = +5% damage underground
halfling= +7 AC
halfelf = +2 1/2% cheeper attribute cost +2.5% damage in forests
gnome = +5% resist -5% fizzle
halforc= +5 AC

Gaddy started a thread regarding this issue. (Can't find it, though)
I also disagree with Half-Orcs' racial bonus. It shouldn't be a "toned down" version of the Halflings' bonus. I think it should be something unique that befits the race.
