Ages ago, i put up a chat room which got pretty popular in the little time that it was up for. Yet again, i have put up a chat room for you all to run riot in. The current chat room is indeed rubbish, and i think it makes pop-ups appear (unless you have the power of the google toolbar). So, as soon as QuickChat sorts out their site, ill get that one which was the one i used previously.

Newb, do you have Pirch or Mirc? If not, you should be able to get in by clicking on the link provided, once you get in, it should pop up a screen .. enter a nickname and it should bring you right into the room. Holler if you need any help.

Replaced from ParaChat anyway, now have better chat applet from QuickChat (PlanetZ/LiveHarmony)

I've been having trouble with java lately, ever since my computer owned itself and loaded a backup of the registry from like...a year ago.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled java several times. Still doesn't work. blahblahblah

Anyways, someone should help me make my java work again.

Also, Amy, I don't have either of those and prefer not to get them. They don't like me and I don't like them.

i loved the old chat but this one wont work for me the screen comes up but then nothing else loads it just stays blank with the brick pattern *CRY*

Try that prog. Once downloaded all you need to do is install it. Once you activate a java applet the JRE (Java Runtime Enviroment) will kick in and run on its own.

This maybe a dumb question... but why not just make an irc chatroom on gamesurge (Gamesnet new name)?

IRC is much better than a java based chat IMHO, and the channels owners and moderators have nearly unlimited power to remove and ban people from the chat.

you can kick and ban people on this one. it's IP and name account banning. This one is fine, and works. The main purpose is so players can get immediate help when needed. obviously, atm nobody uses the site because there isn't anything on it. But Angelus has got alot of new original maps including a world map, POD information etc that will be going on the NS website. So sit tight

Maybe you can find a free java irc app that points to the IRC chat room people are using. Then they can use either mIRC or the Java applet.

Well personally, I think it was cool to spend a few hours talking with Pandilex and other players. Maybe that's just me though.

Last time i had the nightmist chat, there were about 50 people at once talking.... it was chaotic, but fun lol.
