Why not train up one for yourself first, thus making you a credible player. One of the stupidest things I ever saw was a kid with a pair of archies asking for someone to take him to Nightmist from Resthaven because he didn't know the way... Soon after he was dead.

My first arch will be a pacifist....
Simply because I know any other character I arch will have doen so with the help of alts, and I prefer not to get my first arch in that fashion (I use alts with other classes simply because I cannot resist.... heh)

Rose Garden is quite good to train in on your own imo, considering some retarded effer with 19 alts doesn't jump you the second you get in the door. Me and odin used to train there together only using our mains when they were still babies (Mage & Fighter obviously). The fights in there were so cool, especially when you'd been in there for a considerable time, so the cash stakes in relation to combat were relatively high. Odin then completed his training solo in the desert, and I continued in the rose garden to arch Deval.

I just hope in the whole scheme of things everyone still realizes that the amount of alts you have doesnt count for much *Ok It SHOULDNT* Its how you use em.
