monsters in game usually have different weapons that players cant have them
i thought it would be nice if those weapons had description too

A Mummy tried to attack you with its Ancient Egyptian Staff but you dodged the blow.

Why? What is the point of learning about something that a person cannot use?

Some of us like to explore the nooks and crannies of our fantasy worlds, it's fun for us. If the staff decide to add it, what bother would it be to you? it would heighten our game experience, and if the staff want to add, then why are you putting down an idea that doesnt hurt you?




On the other hand, the staff will probably not add because it is non-functional, its just fluff(interesting fluff, but fluff) i cant really blame them for this, they are buisy with things that actually serve purpose in the game world, but if it could be worked in it would be cool to have that much clearer a picture of the monster attacking me. Remember that in any REAL(read: non graphically-based) RPG the flavorful description of the world is our only way to "see".

There are an awful lot of monster-only weapons in-game now; it will take an awful lot of work to give descriptions for all of them. Also... what do you do with weapons like "Large Claws" and the like? I presume some people would want descriptions for them too!

I agree with Crane it would take a Long time to Rescript all the weapons, what yall could doo is make the descriptions for each item yallselves and post em here soo staff can put them ingame. of course staff will handle the mods of the item but..

The items don't need to have stats, they can just be descriptions when you /library them.

I'd like to see something similar to this on DS, where every physical item in game is actually getable (obviously excluding say, a Giant holding a tree truck). But fighting something like this in reality, it's weapon would (unless magical) fall to the fall next to its body (obviously a % chance), similar to Short Swords.
