God forbid that I would ever want to go somewhere you suggested (offense intended, but not really meant) ... but do they roleplay there?
Because that to me is the point of dot hack the anime... was that he gradually forgot who he himself was and the other players had to help him find out.
I went there briefly thinking it might be worth looking at when I have more time on my hands, and the admin or some such were talking about each other being idiots with people typing 'lol' a lot, which sorta screamed 'not a roleplaying game' to me

This is a Mirage Source game. Probably not even worth the hassle since you can download the VB source and make your own
This game hasn't even had anything added to it. If any of you have ever played a Player Worlds game, well this is like the source code Player Worlds began working off, and The World Online is similar, only with less features.
The tileset and sprites used in this game are pretty muched used in 90% of homemade Mirage Source and Player Worlds game, which doesn't really make it any good at all.
If you want to play something like that, only better, i suggest Realms of Terra when it comes out for beta.
(To Charon: If you remember my old game Medieval Magic (before after darkness), it was empty and boring. That's pretty much what The World Online is like)
more features, better graphics. that's for sure.
