Automatic Character Trading

You would simply do what you need to do with your character, unequip it etc. and stick it up on the site for sale. People can look at the characters for sale page and buy crits automatically. You could have a for sale page and an auction page.
I just feel this would be easier then posting on the forum, because im trying to get my characters sold, and the amount of posts a day on the crit trading topic is insane.
We could have it so the page goes off account names. so you could have a list of account names, or something like that, and you can click on somebodys account name (or whatever), and check out the crits that they are offering. This would stop the page getting completely crowded with crits.

The only solution to this I see would be that once a character is placed on the auction board that you can not log that character. Or you could fill out a questionaire before placing it up there.
Example:
Name
Level
EXP
HPS/Mana
Armor
Instant Sale Price
Then all this info would be listed on the page. If for some reason the character was not as it was posted staff could then go back and check the application and sort out any problems based on the info the seller provided.
This would actually increase the amount some characters are sold for if all items are listed seperate. I see alot of crits sold on the forums where the seller doesn`t even get what the armor on the crit cost.

I like the idea of an auction system, as crits for sale don't get drowned out as easily - the only problems I can see are thess... not everyone will know what a good instant-sell price is and only going by what players bid. Another one is that some people may exploit the sorting system so their crits always appear at the top of a large list (for example, if the list of crits for sale were sorted alphabetically, they would name them AAAAA, AAAAB, AAAAC, etc). The last issue is that only gold can be traded for them, really.
Saying all that, a good side of using the forum is that you can be charismatic and write whatever you want to catch the users' attention, or explaining the fact that you will take other crits or items, or just gold.
It's a tricky one - there are advantages to disadvantages to both the current method and this new method suggested.

example At the top it says how would you like your results to be sorted
by price-least to most
by price-most to least
by name-A to Z
by name-Z to A
by level-1 to 30
by level 30-1
by date oldest to mewest
by date newest to oldest
well if we made it that we can post crits and there could be a search engine that you could search for stats, level, hp, mp, race, class, keywords, seller.
Wow now thats a great idea but it would take alot of work to get started and if it blows up there would be a problem.

i forgot to add that in there. i was thinking a seperate account, or just a database even, where characters are stored. and i really like BlueCrew's idea.Jim, my suggestion included a character shut down - Upon placing it for sale it was removed from your account until either a sale is completed: IS met/Time runs out (crit returned to you), or you cancel the sale - Until any of those, you can't log the crit on to edit it's Equipment/exp/anything.
