Should be removed. The line before that explains it's possesive qualities well enough. I think the base damage should be 18. And I have no idea about a boss drop, but not the General. Maybe bought in a store..? Name should be changed from something other than just "Sling Shot".
(I can see why you chose DG for a boss drop, but compared to hally, this is just a little much.)

Once you aquire the scroll, and use it, it'd be automatic from then on.
Could be an alternate drop for the Giant Chameleon?

The tattered robes that the spirit of Ruh'Ghul(Is that it's name?  ) drops seem kind of useless. Maybe you could make the robes give +10-20 mana? Would help low lvl mages a bit. Just an idea...
