I personally think that you give the hydra thorn too good of a description making it sound more powerful than it really is. Maybe tone it down a bit and it would be fine ... I like the idea though!

Hand Axe- A common axe used mostly for the splitting of wood, made by the smithy of Nightmist. It has perfect balance as it sits in a novice players hand.
That really sucks, eh? Well it is getting close to 3am ... maybe a new one tomorrow if i get anyone that agrees about how much it sucks.

This weapon is very leathal... To something the size of a fly. But in a fight, it could do the least amount of damage as possible. Maybe even leave a small red mark from where you happened to slap the other person with it.
Dunno what made me think of this, but I just felt like it. Maybe it can be a cool joke weapon like the Rubber Dagger?
