I just rolled a near perfect mage ...but the strength is only 7...can mage survive this?
stats : 7/21/18/18/19/20

Strength doesn't really matter to a mage, it's only use is when you run out of mana. If that happens however your be st bet is to run to a tavern and rest, or use a mana crystal.

Personally I'd re roll those though, I'd aim for x 21 19 18 20 x for elf, and for gnome: x 21 20 18 19 x

don't forget, mages need strength if you ever hope to beat a cleric or paladin in a duel....

I rolled a nice 5 stat Elf this morning 18 21 11 18 20 21.
If that damm dex would have been just a little higher.......

The only hope for a mage beating a cleric or paladin in a duel was stamina timing. Now there is NO hope. Well unless they have 11 wisdom. Even then constant healing would prevail.

Lag is another good thing to bank on, although it's very rare.

only thing charisma is used for on a mage is a slight variation on healing . . .
