Well... since mages are really powerful and all, (they're also my least favorite clas) I'm suggesting some sort of mage armor that can block magic, ranger arrows, and theives assassinate (just like normal armor), but it can't block normal fighter hits. It'd have to be pretty weak too.

We could have a variety of these, some of which could be like.... gloves boots and ring (they don't take place of your armor). Like maybe Halo Of Light could block FireBalls and Blasts for like 5-10 damage each? And maybe 'boots of deceit' could protect you from Democrats (lol just kidding) or protect you one quarter damage of assassinate?

maybe a spell for mages and druids 'shadow of covering' which blocked other mages' beams.

and maybe 'rubber overcoat' could protect you from jolt and shocks, (and wrath of the gods)

Just some suggestions, halos could only be worn by republicans. (J/k, only clerics)

I think that this is a good idea halos would have to replace helmets though on clerics.

The various magical armor items could help in some situations that you listed above, but keep in my mind AoP already protects a lot. Once again, I like some of those ideas.
