ok here goes thought 150 ac on my mage with aop gotta have a chance against a zerker
 
Defcon is a Male Gnome Archmaster Mage. He looks normal, very wise, fast, and sexy. In one hand he holds a Spider Staff, which glows with a magical aura. He is wearing a Golden Robes, and a Pirate Hat protects his head. Around his neck sits an Amulet of the Lich. He is wearing a Crystal Ring, a Crystal Ring, a Crystal Ring, a Crystal Ring, and Spider Gauntlets on his hands. His feet are protected by Boots of Time. He is a member of €qúî£îß®îúm and he is in a healthy condition. He has been AFK () for 10 minutes.
 
so i cast AoP and got loads of armor then let a master zerker try a round on me read below
 
Bouncer berserked at you from his Halberd for 56 points of damage.
Bouncer berserked at you from his Halberd for 52 points of damage.
Bouncer berserked at you from his Halberd for 26 points of damage.
Bouncer berserked at you from his Halberd, but missed.
Bouncer berserked at you from his Halberd for 34 points of damage.
Bouncer berserked at you from his Halberd for 55 points of damage.
 
now leaving me with 9 HP
 
so how with 150 ac a zerker can still hit full hits against me and missed 1 stamina where he would have rounded me
but yet fighters cant hit me for more than 10/20 dmg a hit when they hit how can this be anouther class can literally whoop an arch master mage with 150ac but yet others can bearly touch him?

It can't ignore AC. Zerkers hit for alot more then 20-50....

I played around too with my Zerker and mage . . . without AOP my mage was rounded almost everytime . . .
 
with AOP my mage ended up losing only half his hp everytime . . .  
 
best round with AOP out of around 15 attempts was:
 
Seven berserked at you from his Halberd for 27 points of damage.
Seven berserked at you from his Halberd for 34 points of damage.
Seven berserked at you from his Halberd for 44 points of damage.
Seven berserked at you from his Halberd for 22 points of damage.
Seven berserked at you from his Halberd for 29 points of damage.
Seven berserked at you from his Halberd for 31 points of damage.
 
leaving my Mage with 145 ac with 40 hp I think

You're right about that.
 
Was the Berserker Enhanced at all when he did either of those rounds. That could be the deciding factor, also RF would help alot.

150AC should deflect about three quarters of an attack
 
i dont have a high mage but my cleric (132AC, 253 HP) can quite easily get hit by fully spelled up zerkers and survive. Thieves, on the other hand......

What I don't like about berserk and rapid fire is their ability to get around high armor. A fighter for example. They attack and either hit, miss, do partial damage or have it blocked completely by the armor. With berserk and rapid fire, there is only hit and miss, with minus points from ac. There are no absorbs or partial absorbs. That is why they are the best attacks.
 
You attacked an Orc with a Halberd, but the Orc's armor absorbed most of the blow for 20 points of damage. x 6
 
and
 
You rapidly fired at an Orc for 63 points of damage. x 5
 
Doesn't seem fair to me :P
