Im thinkin about trainin a mage but im not sure if its worth it or not cause i heard that there really hard to train and not really that good even at higher levels. Any body experienced with mages kno anything bout this?

A lot of what you hear is crap. Mages are a lot easier to train than people make it sound. You just gotta have patience and find the right monsters.

well mages are supposed to get edited soon since pandi suggested some things to jlh. they are also getting a new attak spell called devastate. this should make them worth it cuz at the moment they are only good for invissing parties

As it stands leveling a mage to about level 18 is worthwhile. That way you have invisibility and 3 stamina. Anything over level 18 will start to cost you majorly to train effectively, and will cost you an arm and a leg to maintain.
So to answer your question, level a mage to 18. Otherwise make a ranger/druid/cleric/berserker/fighter.

and you are sure that's not one of the suggestions pandi made to make it better/less mp usage?
