Btw, u didn't answer my question, I wanted to know if the gate in the maze worked both ways? & if so where would the gate be that goes TO the maze gate?

the vortex on the map goes to mage guild. and i think it allows you to go straight towards a town but not sure. last time i went there was over a year ago to lvl my mage
