Title: sneak attack
Post by Dr Death on 01/30/04 at 08:01:18
I thought of this idea for thieves.

It only works when the thief is covert.

A thief sneaks up behide a person covert and grabs them, stoping them from screaming or yelling so that people wouldn't come to help him.

The thief is behide the victom, covering this victom's mouth wiht his hand.

It works like vines for druids but this is for thieves. The victom can't move or yell for help.

That  means he can't yell for help or yell for help to people that could be around him.

Since the thief is grabing and holding the victom he can't attack so people on that square or in the thieve's party can only attack the victom.

It's late I am tired. I will finish my idea for this later.

that would make thieves invincible.

here we have a party of 10 people training in the desert. somebody comes to pk with 10 thieves and 1 druid. each of the 10 thieves use the sneak attack rendering themselves useless for attacking and the whole party of 10 training useless. so now the party that is training is left with 2 choices. die a slow death by a single druid, or log. seeing that the party training cant call for help, they would just sit there unable to do a thing so the average person would just log. so then the sneak attack is rendered useless becuase it didnt do the job it was supposed to do  :-/ it could be a good idea but not in this type of game

Galad, I think that's an extreme case.. It's more likely to be used on parties where a thief could (maybe) grab one member and kill him without the party realising right away.

It'd be an interesting skill, but I don't think it's very suitable for Nightmist, namely cus of the number of character people would use with it. Possibly if Nightmist had an alt limit it'd work better.

it could work (altho really unlikely to be put in if you ask me) but it should take like aal the thieves stamina and have liek a 50% chance of working? something like that. all chat of the victim should be turned off.

It takes up all stam and it's for lvl 26+

The thief that cast the sneek attack spell can't attack for 20 seconds even if he is at full stam.

The people in the theive's party cant only attack teh victom that the thief is holding.

if the victom last for 30seconds and doesn't die the sneek spell wears off and then the victom can ran or call for help.
