how are you supposed to train a thief without using assassinate or stealing gold?... they're regular attack does little to no damage at lower lvl... they're main attack is assassinate thats how you get done faster... how do you expect to train a thief using regular attack 1-30?

a 'challenge' to lvl a thief to 30 without using its main abilities is pointless, it would take ages to even get it to lvl 15... if anyone wants to waste they're time doing this be my guest but its simply stupid to even think of.
If you cant use main abilities then whats the point in using the class at all?
