Just a thought for thieves, they would be able to have a percentage chance of detecting a trap in a certain direction.
 
For example:
/detecttrap north
 
..This would attempt to see if there is a trap north. The percentage would work on a certain stat (such as intelligence as there is no theif stat that would represent how skilled he is) and use all your stamina so you do not keep doing the ability over and over again until the percent shows the real results. If the resulting percent turns out to be above 90, possibly it should show more information on the trap such as what races it will effect and possible base damage, etc.

Plus most of the traps you can't see with the naked eye anyway..

Umm.. why? It's well known that thieves are able to detect/disarm traps, pick pockets, open locks etc... not rangers lol
