Title: Can't log on
Post by Snowflake on 01/13/04 at 01:48:03
I've read the FAQ, reinstalled several times, yet it still won't connect, the only thing that I know that could be affecting it is that when I try to install it says it could not overwrite file Olepro32.dll and some other file.  So I try to delete the file manually and it says that it cannot access it.  Help please?

shouldn't matter for telnet, if telnet doesn't work, then a firewall is stopping you connect to nightmist, without knowing what firewall you have, i can't give any more advice.

snowflake, if telnet isn't working, something is very wrong, since that has nothing to do with nightmist
evilcloud, have you tried telnet?

If it has nothing to do with nightmist then how come that is the file that has a problem when i try to load nightmist? It must have something to do with it.

telnet comes with every windows and is used for connection checking at a very basic level, assuming you have no firewall, if telnet doesn't work, nightmist won't

my server is not refusing connections from your ip as you can use the forum.
the fact that telnet does that tells me a firewall is in there somewhere.
