I think that you should be able to steal from paci's, seeing as how they are such spiritual beings, they shouldn't get too hung up about material items and money.

idunno, it might be a fair trade off. if pacifists can give money or take money or sell items, they should be able to be robbed also. the way i see it, we're having our cake and eating it too. robbery is basically the only money interaction that pacifists aren't allowed to partake of. on the other hand, pacifist's interaction and relations with other players is rediculous in just about any other aspect, also.

Well I say if it were put in they should get a way to defend themself. Like a spell to be casted on themself that protects them from being stolen from for say 5 minutes. And if someone tries to steal from them in that time, the pacifists deity chops the thief's hands off. (doing 20-50 damage back to the thief)

Maybe stealing yes. but a chance that the deity will intervien, say like 95% chance? = Instant Kill from their god if they try. That way people would take a chance of losing exp, for some gold.., seems rather reasonable to me.

Well the thing is game balance as well as realism, if your a ranger and you stolen from all of a sudden the thief is full of arrows (if ya got a cleric), or zerkers turn them into hamburger or whatever. Paci: *Smiles and nods to the thief* "I love you so much for taking my gold please have some more I just love it when people steal from me!". No that is not happening.
