Food Packs

Since the update with hunger/thirst and all doing more damage, it got me thinking about "what if my crits get hungry while im training" or while at some far area such as chronos or something like that. Well not everyone is goin to bring a druid and since we are limited to 14 spaces of inventory, it would suck to have to waste space to buy food for each crit. So i suggest being able to buy a Food Pack or something of that sort.

Food pack taking up only one space of invent but having enough contents to feed multiple crits. As in you click the use button on the Food pack give to another alt and so on..and the food pack will just disappear after all contents were used.

Could be sold in supply shop
Food Pack (of 5) 100 gold?
Food pack (of 10) 200 gold?

Anyways just a little suggestion tell me what ya think.

This would be great for longer trips where you really can't afford to risk taking another alt, or taking less mana/pots. I like it.

Maybe the price should be a little higher though.

Maybe like they did with the monsters several of the same inventory could be combined to take up one space like mana x10 or something limitatioins of course but it would be useful or maybe packs or bags?

I like the idea as long as it is food and water packs only...if ppl start wanting mana or pots to be storable i would really think it bad.

It would not be a waste of space. Opposed to the value of food on journeys before this change, yes it would be a waste of space. But, now that food/drink is actually needed, you may consider filling a whole inventory with them.

I'm not flaming you, or calling your idea stupid, it's just that it's not needed. You have kind of overlooked one of the points of hunger/thirst damage being increased.

Will it help me save face and not look like a total n00b? Actually, in all honesty, I didn't even know you could find liquids foraging!

Of course I did.

i think CPG did make a good point, but i think the idea of the hunger/thirst hurting more is to keep people from going afk for long periods of time more than it is to force them to have a druid or hold food.  Then again, I have been wrong about lots of things in the past.

Like I said, make more monsters drop more food. They can't all be unedible.

i agree that to monsters dropping food is a good idea but...most areas that you will be in for a long while dont really have anything edible (sp). like in the desert, i personally wouldnt want to eat a slimy old shriveled up spider. then in the museum, it couldnt apply at all seeing that the scarabs are the only non-boss that is actually living (and by that i mean with blood and all that stuff) then theres arrowheads (stone sandwiches?), modern art scupltures (mmm...paste!) suits of armor. then in the dungeon in dendeye, in the area ive been in its either human or some demon ghost thing.

sry if i came off rude. not trying to flame just making a point.

ooo p.s. some monsters already drop food Tongue deer drops deer meat and cinder beasts drop roses

i like the idea about food packs and i agree with jen. the price should be higher cuz....

roast beef costs 12. 12*10=120 but...
advanced mana crystal costs 200. refills 100 mana. but if you use a pub to completely heal hp and mp, it only costs 100 gold. so lets say your using a cleric with 300 mp. 100 gold to refill in a pub. 600 gold to use 3 adv mana crystals to refill 300 mana. so back to the roast beef
12*6 (cuz it costs 6 times as much to refill mana)=72
so a pack of 10 would cost 720 gold. so then i get to thinking...hmmm why not just have different types of food packs that quench all of the hunger or only part of the hunger. so then like 500 gold for a pack of 10 food that quenches half your hunger and 1200 for a pack of food that quenches all of it? (once again paralleling the cost of mana. cuz regular costs 50, refills 50, adv costs 200 refills 100)

The idea of inventory increasing items such as bags has been on the to do list since pre-reset, lol. I'm not sure if it will ever be added though.

I like the idea but, Long trips to where? There is a town on every corner now, if you can't get to it, then you should have though about bringing that extra crit a little more thoroughly.
