Title: Honestly, Your Opinions Please Post by Kazul on 11/26/03 at 01:38:33 Humans have always had really only one advantage over halflings in the ranger category, the increased constitution, and in turn increased health. Now with the change to hp, humans are still getting the same hp while halflings are getting in the 290's and now 300's. It's a bit rediculous. I could be wrong but when u've got the highest hp in game of any 19 const ranger and a 18 const ranger goest 7 hp above u, that is pretty lame. I only say this because one, i own 3 human rangers, and two i don't think that crits w/lower const should have higher hp, lucky rolls or not. Can a staffer please tell me whether or not human hp will be higher as the halfer hp has been when reroll comes out, cause if not, then there should be an automatic raise for older crits w/19 const, cause that is just lame. |

I think that there SHOULD be a chance that an 18 con ranger would get the same hp as a 19 con ranger, because its all to do with luck (note: the same as 19 con, not more) But I think that this should rarely happen and most of the time 19 con should have more hp than 18. |

Personally I think it should be: Halfling hps run from 8-10 Humans should run from 9-10 An extra 30 hp on a human ranger would help out a lot. It wouldn't make them over powered, but it might make up for the 2 dext less than a halfling ranger. |

Humans can now get 11s on levels..but they're very rare- i got 2 on my re-lvling of cervix to master. |

Human's highest is 304 i think, or highest i know of. 304...highest ling has 302. Avg. ling gets around 293, average human gets about 300. 7 hp and 1 str, 1 wis doesnt make up for 2 dex, and 6 armor. Especially not on rangers. Training a human ranger is WAY WAY harder than training a halfling one. The result is still a good crit, but barely even mediocre when compared to a halfling. |
