it should be a spell the reduce the power of every spell to half as normal
for maybe one minute
so that i can be a tactical part of the game
one example
i groupfight again much mages
if the spell would be cast on the party members the party only take the half damage of the normal mage attack
a second example
i fight again a party with only one cleric as a healer in it
with the spell i should be possible to kill him first like
cast it on him
then he can heal himselve only as half as good as normal
or an other example
cast it at the fighters(berserks, thiefs ...) of the enemy
so that they cant be healed as fast as normal(to kill em easier)
and the disadvantage is there, because of the bad healing or that the enemies are protectet again spells
i think it would be a not so strong but effective spell for the paladins(maybe lvl 20)
