The title pretty much explains it. It's an addition to the /clan invite command that functions in the same way that /invite alts does.

Nah, JLH said that /clan invite (player's) alts wasnt allowed.... which is something different

Seeing as if you invite someone ELSES alts this would be bad, but what harm is there in knowing your own alts...

And If they dont want one or two of their alts known it would be simple enough to not log on them, and get them an invite later....

Yes, it would be easier to change clans, but I don't see the big deal in that. If a person wants to leave, all the power to them, they'd do it anyway, it would only take a bit longer without those commands.

Anywho JLH said he would think about adding it, so nothing more we can do :-/
