as in the date?  The /time is mostly there for spawnings.  If you need to find out the day etc. then look at your system tray.  The server runs at GMT so for the majority of us it's just adding hours for the correct time.

The days of a week would be easier to determine when is mosh, Triplex, ect.

Why, if it's an English game and what not. Is the date put the American way around (Month/Day/Year). When it should really be the other way (Day/Month/year).. Or am i just being picky? Or is it that the Americans wouldn't understand? (No offence meant)

Anyone here heard of "Internet Time"? I'll have to get the link from my mare.. But it's like the nets time, makes it eaier to organise stuff in different time zones :)

The day of the server is generally the same the same day you are in and if you don't know what day it is maybe you should see the light.

the date is american because it makes my logs easier to sort through when needed, as seeing all the 1st's of the months, then all the 2nd's is just annoying, whereas seeing them ordered by month first is better.

Cool. :D I am not American but Canada has the same day (Most of the time we are too big for 1 time zone).

i prefer armor to armour and color to colour, one less letter to type :)
most of the reasons are because visual basic, being microsoft, is american and uses american spellings of stuff, so the game turned out the same way.
also, most of the players are US, and i wouldn't want them all complaining at me because it is spelt 'wrong', when very few english people have actually commented on it.

We also spell it Armour and Colour here in Canada, but with television and almost everything here being from the United States im used to both.

I am American tried and true, but our language is the same as the English English, with exceptions in slang, Ebonics, etc. I preffer Armour(not the hotdog) because it just fits better. Besides, the reason words like armour and colour changed was because we were all too lazy to write the other letters, especially when you cant hear the difference anyways.

HE HE well I am also Canadian and when I am on MUDs watch out I will spell them both ways (I think I spelled Armour both ways in 1 post before  ;D).
