The rapier is a long slender blade crafted by and for the finest of warriors who take dueling as an art. Although not as devastating as some of the other advanced weapons around, no weapon exists which can match the rapiers ability to parry opponents thrusts and strike back in the blink of an eye.
Base Damage: 5
why not give it + 2-5 dex so it will match the description, would bring some more strategy to fights?
If it would overpower something then make it only + 2 dex, i dont think someone will kill u with 5 base dmg, would be cool imo

Which is correct. It would make it far to easy to walk around areas stealing. Not really much use for attacking, unless in a duel you switch weapon between attacking and waiting for them to hit. It wouldn't be acceptable in my opinion.

I will if you give me a decent reason. So far all you retards have done is made crap arguments, that don't actually mean anything.
If its a problem with stealing, then make it have a - effect. If +2 dext gave you an extra 5% chance to steal, then make the item effect be -5% chance to steal. Nothing hard about that, is there?

The 5% was an example.. I have no idea how much 2 dext affects stealing chance by.

Rapiers are used for sword dueling, aka swashbuckling, which I rarely see thieves do, beings they use covert abilities and assassinate. I would imagine it would be difficult to assassinate someone with a long sword. Hence the reason when I made it, I made it for the current classses.
